WHY
Dublin?
Following its Belfast exhibition in 2024, which brought together young people from shared education schools to reflect on peace and human connection, the project was presented at the United Nations Headquarters in New York in 2025 with the support of the Permanent Mission of Ireland. This marked an important milestone, bringing children’s voices and messages of hope to the international community.
The exhibition at the Irish School of Ecumenics, Trinity College Dublin represents a meaningful convergence of local and global peacebuilding efforts. It offers an opportunity to further connect North and South on the island of Ireland, while situating the Irish experience within a broader trans-local dialogue on just peace, reconciliation, and youth engagement.
