Cambodia Peace Gallery

Kingdom of Cambodia

The Cambodia Peace Gallery, opened in 2018, serves as a space for reflection and learning on Cambodia’s journey from war towards peace and a positive future, presenting the long, complicated Cambodian history characterized by structural violence that emerged from the past atrocities, while celebrating the work of Cambodian peacebuilders that have helped move the country past war. We offer a range of peace education programs and peace guided tours to bring youth and guests, both local and international, to go deeper into peacebuilding and reconciliation in Cambodia following three decades of violence. Our peace education and exhibits highlight the resilience and creativity of peacebuilding initiatives to rebuild the country.

The Cambodia Peace Gallery joined the Drawing Hope Network because we believe art is a profound medium for transforming conflict into hope. It allows our young people to heal, find their voice, and envision a peaceful future for Cambodia. This project is vital because it links their powerful stories with a global movement, empowering them to become active agents for positive change.
